I can’t believe it; I got infected with a malware / virus /Trojan / spyware. Even having all the “tools” to prevent these things of happening; I have an Antivirus called nod32, a firewall called Outpost Firewall.
This malicious malware / virus /Trojan / spyware or whatsoever is really annoying, I got all the time pop-ups with ads, normal ads where changed by ads with the message of my pc being infected with spyware. I also got annoying messages trough the netsend service.
After downloading and scanning my pc with “Search & Destroy”, Ad-Aware 2007, Trend Microsystems and online panda, everything with no luck.
I thought that my only solution was to burn my 180 GB HDD into DVD’s; a whole weekend lost trying to remove this annoying virus.
After several hours of late reading and Googleing I found this extremely nice forum ( http://www.atribune.org/forums ), with guys dedicated on helping unknown users with this heavily annoying virus. They also got a tool to fix this problem, even that tool didn’t help me out, but in the forum they sure did help me, step by step they told me what to do and after pasting logs, scanning my pc, I finally removed the malicious malware / virus /Trojan / spyware. I cannot say how great full I am of finding such people online that help others with nothing in return.
Here is the direct link to the topic where they helped me, great group. topic where i got helped
Today i have added the Flash Portfolio to Google Code you can visit it on this page flashportfoliov1.
I know i haven’t been updating this portfolio for a long time. I hope that putting it on the Google Code page some users might update it and work with it.
I am still working on the new version of this portfolio, i think i will do something totally different since i think this portfolio doesnt work quite well for me anymore.
I have updated the flash portfolio to work with selected links. The flash portfolio will now show which sections are selected and what the user is viewing.
I also noticed that the flash protfolio wasnt working quite well since the xml file had some mixed ID’s it now works pretty well.
You can download the new fixed portfolio from the download page.
I have updated my portfolio with some of my latest work, some more to come.
Some of you might wonder what has happened to the version 2 of my Open Source portfolio. And well its sad to say but i haven’t had the time to make it. I have started, but every time i stop it and retake it, i start changing it over and over.
Well, tomorrow is the day, i will be skydiving. If you ask me if i am nervouse… well not yet. Probably i am gona get nervouse tomorrow when ill be in front of the open door at the plane.
This is a video of my brother, he went 3 weeks ago. When i saw this video i knew i had to do it too.
Some days ago, i got a pretty interesting e-mail from a fellow designer from Hong Kong. He asked me if there was the possibility of adding a rollOver action to the menu.
I remembered that I had this working in a previous version of the portfolio, but for some reason I somehow deleted this option or action. Well I took the time to Update this and make it work again without changing much of the code.
